The university publishes comprehensive admission guidelines and selection requirements annually for prospective students.For graduate admissions, the IME Graduate Program offers master's and doctoral programs with lectures and research guidance in English.
Entrance Fee is 282,000 yen; Annual Tuition Fee is 535,800 yen for Master's and 520,800 yen for Doctoral (as of 2026).Top qualified students who pass the September Application will be awarded scholarships including the Japanese Government's MEXT Scholarship.
MEXT Scholarship provides basic monthly stipend of 144,000 yen (Master's) or 145,000 yen (Doctoral) plus additional stipend based on research location.Self-supporting students can apply for exemption of Entrance Fee and Annual Tuition, with potential exemption of up to half or the whole amount.
